Date: June 05, 2007 01:18PM Hi, I just started the raw foods diet 3 days ago. I was already on a very restricted diet for 3 years where I cut out sugar, soy, wheat, grains, flour, processed food, additives,and anything that was store bought. I made everything from scratch with only natural ingredients. So, this is not such a big change except for adding grains and not cooking my food. I feel REALLY REALLY bloated with lots of gas. Is this normal in the beginning. I always had a problem with raw veggies. Do you think this will pass? I really want to do this 100% really bad but I'm scared of how bad my stomach feels. I had severe ulcerative colitis which is why I started the other diet 3 years ago. I never felt better and all the stomach pains had gone away. Any advice? Thank you so much.
