wondering two things after reading 80/10/10 book

Hello, I finished this book a little while ago, and did my best to write an objective review on Amazon.com (it was difficult because I am biased towards the diet). However I was left wondering why Dr. Graham recommends eating any "overt" fat at all. He never explained that... I hope it isn't because "80/10/10" rolls off the tongue better than "87ish/10/3ish"
Also, he says to eat juicy fruit for breakfast, sweeter fruit for lunch, and I something about acid fruits at dinner. Again, why?

Anyone know? Not really a pressing concern, just a curiosity.

By the way, I will sell my copy for half price, email me! Esp. peeps using paypal.

excellent questions..

i think it's because it rolls off the tongue.
but i could be wrong.

i think it's because the body may still be in a bit of a cleansing phase in the morning and juicy fruit is the lightest and easiest to digest.
sweeter fruit for more calories at lunch.
and acid fruits probably combine better with whatever else is being eaten at dinner.

i wonder why people ask questions here when the question could be asked on his board..

His board? Ehh... the prospect of finding and registering on another internet board doesn't really appeal to me at all. It's ok

But on a side note, did anyone else find the testimonial written by Roen Horn to be really creepy?

I go with how I feel, not by how someone else tells me I feel.

I dont like self-help books, diet books included.

In my humble opinion there are 2 types of people:
1. People who want to make money
2. People who actually do help others any way they can (including giving them info - free of charge!)

3. People who want to make money AND help others by giving them some info free and some other info that costs money.

time can often be equated to money
people spend time making things for others
intellectual property is just as valuable and takes just as much time and thought and effort as real property.

did someone sell you your house for free?

Lemure,

What book/author/person has ever told you what to feel?

Also, do you earn money? If you do, then according to you, you must be a Type 1 person (People who want to make money). In fact, almost the entire working population would fall into this category. There aren't a whole lot of people who are working for free, just for the pleasure of helping other people.

what about David Zane Mason? smiling smiley

what about everyone here?

Its certainly possible to have a world where intelectual property isn't something prized and disseminated through exchange but something avaliable to all.

especially if we are talking about the tools of health
