Date: August 23, 2007 06:14AM From what I've read, it's just that when a young watermelon is placed in a square-shaped container (like a box), it grows to fill the space; hence the square shape. That's a manipulation, I suppose, but not exactly scary frankenfood. I think it would be fun to try it. If only I grew watermelons... Re: Has anyone tried growing a square watermelon?
