Date: April 25, 2006 07:41PM why buy a book when there is so much information on the internet? but if you prefer books...there are so many. search on amazon or chapters for raw foods, and read the descriptions. check them out and see which one seems right for you. or head down to a bookstore(if you have a big chapters or a banyen or something that would have raw food books, of course) and flip through them! it depends if you're wanting the recipies, or the digestion, or the health or whatever side of things. Date: April 25, 2006 09:07PM Being 100% raw is fantastic. On top of having a great time, I'm finding it less work food prep. wise than cooking food. I don't bother "watching my diet", I just eat anything I want as long as it's raw and vegan.

Date: April 30, 2006 06:46AM Hello and welcome,
I have a couple of book suggestions if you're a reader as I am. 1. Hulda Clark's book: "The Cure for All Diseases" (While this is not raw, it does address diseases and detoxing your environment.) 2. "Mucusless Diet Healing System," by Arnold Ehret (This does address raw.) You'll also want some tools: 1. Juicer or blender 2. Food processor 3. Food dehydrator 4. Water Distiller or purifier 5. Sprouter to sprout seeds, plus some seeds to sprout 6. a free account at fitday.com to plug in your nutritional intake so that you know what to supplement 7. Vitamin/mineral Supplements. There is more and as you read this and other boards more, you will find more info regarding exercises, etc. I started buying tools gradually as it can get expensive along with the raw food. Good luck. Therese Re: NEW need help please
