hey bryan

i remember a couple of posts where u talked about how important it is to get sleep

i agree

man... i wish i could sleep all day

all week , in fact

sleep is like food to me

i wish i could pay $9.95 to just sleep ALL day ( like those all you can eat buffets)

and if someone wants to wake me up , i'd tell them " HEY ! I PAID for my ticket!"

i think having a perfect diet is useless without having a good sleep diet

i'm working on the sleep thing

could use some encouragement

seems like there is never enough hours in the day so i just push it

if i were a trillionaire, u know what i'd do?

sleep ALL day

EVERY day

oh....well.. that's how i just feel right now

i'm sure i'd do better things with my time when i get caught up on my sleep

sleep is so luxurious

and i deserve this luxury

Good! Wish that to you!
(I happen to have a few questions about sleeping - I'll start a new tread though as I don't want to highjack your sleep..... smiling smiley

love

Sleep is so delicious. Especially when it has been neglected. I get what you mean by it feeling like a luxury. Like a bubble bath in a jacuzzi with whirlpool jets, while drinking your fresh squeezed orange juice-only mimosa.

But in reality, while it may feel like a luxury, it is a real necessity. Deprive yourself of enough of it, and you will pay the consequences. If you're lucky, you'll only feel tired or dragging. But do it long enough, as disease will follow.

The real issue is what are the thoughts and thinking behind not giving yourself all the sleep your body is asking for? Is someone asking you to perform or work at a level that does not allow for all the sleep you need? If so, why are you listening to this person?

Enquiring minds want to know!

well i did catch up on my sleep ( i'll be darned that i felt no compunctions about it whatsoever)

so now, i feel a bit back on track

naw, i don't have any delusions that getting less sleep is a moral badge of honor

nor do i allow other people to tell me to do more (ultimately its up to me, and i've always been very clear about that)

this life is crazy
this world is crazy

its up to me to bring some sanity into my own life

so i did
today

got some more sleep
and it feels terrific !
