i would like to buy some bulk stuff online, the only canadian site i found that has interesting items is www.realrawfood.com
everything is cool but its in Bristish Colmbia...And i live in Québec! So im looking for others online stores, maybe a little bit closer...

Wouldn't raw food be a hard sell to the French, they take their food pretty seriously to say the least. How could a Frenchman give up cheese and crusty bread? It would be like a rejection of their culture lol.

i want to order raw nuts, because i can only find small quantities in the stores over here...And its kind of expensive to buy small amounts at a time..

...and i would like to find a store located closerto Québec... Because the shipping fees for large amounts of nuts must be sooooo expensive....! its kinda heavy

have you considered asking your local health food place or wherever it is that you get your nuts if they would do a bulk order for you? they are already paying for a shipment and they may even give you a discount as you are ordering in quantity. check it out, some healthfood stores are open to that. sort of like a co-op!

or you could do an order with other people who also want what you are after. the shipping cost isn't so much that way and the more you order, the lower the price.

do you know if the online place in BC has a warehouse that they ship from or if they order from wherever they get the nuts and have them sent directly to you? that's worth checking out. if they aren't even shipping from BC then it wouldn't matter if you ordered from them or someone closer to you.

is the realraw place getting almonds that are really raw? if they say they are, is it from a grower who for sure isn't having to steam the almonds? that may make a difference in price, these days truly raw almonds are harder to come by.

I used to spend time every summer for years in Val David in the Laurentians. I miss it so much now it hurts when I think about it. The cottage on Golden Lake was sold by my ex's family evntually.

If I ever go back there how will I be able to resist those crepes? The restaurant was Le Tournesol I believe.
