[www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com] it was pretty good stuff, but I know there is better stuff out there. What are your sources for unheated/raw coconut oil or butter? give me the hook ups I've got the itch!!! Re: where can I get good unheated coconut oil/butters?

Date: February 19, 2008 02:44PM Hey. I don't order mine online; I get them at Essene, a local health-food store. Organic virgin, cold-pressed. If you have a health-food store nearby, you should be able to find it. [utopiankitchen.wordpress.com] Re: where can I get good unheated coconut oil/butters?

Date: February 20, 2008 02:51AM I think it would be better if you got one of those incredibly expensive auger type juicers with a screen and made your own fresh coconut butter. Or just use fresh coconut meat, rather than the oil.
Whatever good stuff is in the oil is also in the flesh and it's less calorie dense. Re: where can I get good unheated coconut oil/butters?

Date: February 21, 2008 02:18AM Oh Arugala....I love you!!! That is an awesome idea!
I just got an auger type juicer and I have a freezer full of coconut meat. My last coconut delivery was more on the mature side and I didn't know what to do with all of the meat. I mean I can make coco-noodles etc, but I have the meat from 25-30 coconuts to figure out something to do with. Coconut butter here I come.
