thanks to the powers that be...IT'S WATERMELLON TIME
Posted by: fruitgirl ()

i know you guys have to go thru this with me every
year, but if it weren't for watermellon who knows what
crap i'd be eating. plus it was a particularly long
winter.

can i just say my first mellon today was absolutely
incredible....unlike past years. it's a sign...a particular
crisp, vibrant, juicy spring ahead.

and as of this minute im starting a long mellon cleanse.....
even though i know this is very glycemicly incorrect.....
i'll chew some seeds and rind.

happy mellon days everyone!! fruitgirl

You're right, it is far too difficult to endure your enjoying a watermelon.

Just kidding.. best wishes. I've never had a good watermelon before.

Far as I know it's a regular yellow water melon, The store my wife works gets them in this time of year, we live in Texas so they do good business with water melons with the hot summers we have here!

wowie zowie basia,

that recipe sounds snappy. i love the seeds....packed
with protien.

seeds, dates, ginger.....how about smushing it into tight
little balls and rolling in grated coconut??? (hehe as if
the seeds didn't already have enough fat in em?)

but really...yum!! thanks.
