Wheat Grass in the Vita Mix?

Date: March 03, 2008 05:06AM I have done wg in a vita mix. Should only be done by itself. The fibers dont break down.

Date: March 03, 2008 06:27AM I've blended wheat grass with a hand mixer! I didn't do a lot and I pre-cut it with scissors to 1/4 inch lengths and then blended it with water. It worked great! Re: Wheat Grass in the Vita Mix?

I tried it in my regular juicer this morning and made quite a mess, and shamefully got less than a tablespoon of juice for all my troubles. (My husband said cleaning up afterwards was like cleaning his lawn mower in the sink!) ~ I will follow the instructions on the post you sent next time.....maybe tomorrow! Date: March 04, 2008 02:47AM let me know how that goes, ava. i have my first crop of wheatgrass in the tray RIGHT NOW, and i am excited to experiment... i have no juicer, but i'm going to ghettocize and use the VM. should be fun! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
