Date: March 06, 2008 06:54PM I've battle with anxiety for years, and if I eat any rice at all, the anxiety immediately returns, even if I am in the happiest of settings and looking great. From my own experience, there is a 100% correlation between food and mood. Re: Bipolar/Manic-Depression

Date: March 06, 2008 07:42PM There IS a correlation between food and mood. You can be sure your liver is overworked and not in the best condition. The liver is an amazing organ, but it can get overwhelmed by all it has to deal with.
A raw living food diet is the best way to take the burden from the liver, so that the body can start healing itself. We don't need to do the healing, the body will do it if we allow it to.... All it needs is cleansing and nourishment. (Just a warning, if you are going to work on the liver, remember that constipation is your worst enemy, because the liver can not function properly when the elimination channels are clogged up, also detox symptoms are usually minimal if elimination is taken care of). There are a number of herbal remedies which can assist the liver, of which some can be taken raw, like dandelion leaves which can be added to green smoothies. There are a number of ways to do it, just see what suits you best. I would not be in the least surprised if you can stop your medication over time, but don't rush....take your time, to avoid too heavy detox. Take care! Greenpower Visit my website and my blog!
