Date: June 05, 2006 07:59PM Yeppers, all!
My periodental abscess is finally almost completely resolved, with much suffering headache, puss and other pain, but no antibiotics, no professional dental work done. Just plain on water, salt rinse, garlic, and toughing it out. Thanks for those who supported my faith in my body! genetic Promise Re: tooth update - yey for faith in raw!

Date: June 09, 2006 05:11PM Hi, -
More update!.. Yippie - still healing. Now two 1/2 weeks in. The pocket (6 mm initially ) is shrinking. Still getting better each day. Little less pain each day. Not having done anything related to professional dentistry. Thanks again! GP Re: tooth update - yey for faith in raw!

Date: June 19, 2006 08:08PM What about cavities? I think I might have a couple? Does anyone know if cavities might go away on a raw food diet? I'll prob go to the dentist anyway - but I'm curious. Re: tooth update - yey for faith in raw!

Date: June 22, 2006 03:25PM Hi, shushine - I've heard that cavities can become reenameled and stop progression, also that they can completely refill, but I don't know from personal experience. Good luck with the dentist.
An update: My abscess is now completely healed, took one month total. Two days ago, a piece of bone from my gum line was pushed out (with some help from me, opening a space in the gum) - it looked dark, and sharp, and like the casting off of it was the reason for the infrection process. There 's a wee hole now, that's already filling in, and the skin has healed over. It was hard trusting the process, but my body knew what it wasnted to do - get rid of poor bone. I'm far enough along in raw *over four years now) that bone is being replaced.... It was very painful and scary but worth it. No pain at all, quiet healing. Thanks, all. Date: June 23, 2006 05:05PM Hi, veronique -
yes, that's what my name holds - the strength of that promise, which can be hard to trust in this day. Yes, genes rawk! THOMAS -- sorry for the confusion - the process was VERY painful, and I now have no pain. Was painful then, no pain at all now. No infection. All healed in five weeks. Sorry for your confusion! genetic promise Re: tooth update - yey for faith in raw!
