First day juicing and blending

Date: January 05, 2007 07:50PM I just packed my juicer with a bunch of vegetables and some fruits and some delicous juice was the result of it.
I saw the pulp in the machine and I put it in the blender, added some spring water and made a smoothie out of the pulp. Is this what everyone usually does? I feel I really get the most out of it all this way. Re: First day juicing and blending

Date: January 07, 2007 06:51AM I never do. I most situations, I put the pulp in my menure pile. I sometimes use some of my carrot pulp into my carrot ginger lime soup to give it more body.
I juice so that I can pack a lot of nutrients into my body AND not having my digestive system having to go in overdrive. So, I do not care for any fiber when I juice. So you need to determine why you juice. If I do care about fiber, I just eat the stuff rather then juice it. Also, I never mix my veggies with fruit. I am aware of some exceptions to the rule but in general, I never mix them. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
