Newbee who just ordered the Green star 2000

Hi,
I'm brand new to this type of eating and actually haven't even started yet because I just ordered the greenstar 2000 juicer which I haven't received yet. Can someone recommend some juicing books that will give me as many quick and simple juicing recipes as possible?

Keep us posted as to how you like your GreenStar. I'm thinking about ordering one myself (the 1000)......WY

I don't have any books but I've used these links:

This looks like a good book though:

I have a Green Life juicer, an older model that I have had for about 8 years. It does a fantastic job on just about everything from wheatgrass, carrots, apples, greens, etc. It ejects the pulp so you can juice continuosly without cleanup and go. The only bad thing is it generates a considerable amount of foam when juicing wheatgrass, but after skimming off the foam, the wheatgrass juice is excellent. I grow plenty of grass, so the slight loss from the foam is not a serious concern. Someone told me to put a few drops of olive or flax seed oil on the gears to stop the foaming. I haven't tried it, I don't like the idea of getting oil in my wheatgrass juice. I would highly recommend the Green Star if you juice a variety of greens, carrots, wheatgrass and apples unless you want to have a separate wheatgrass juicer, but then you have to clean 2 machines.

Every juicer I've ever used for Wheatgrass produced
a lot of Foam. I now use a medium-fine Strainer to catch the Foam as
the juice (and foam) comes out of my Wheateena Green Label. But
that doesn't get it all. I still have to skim some like you do......WY
