sugar in carrots verses sprouts

Brian Clemnent says the sugar in carrots is no good but the sugar in sprouts is good. Whats the differecne?

Sprouts are a Complete Food (Complex Sugar), whereas Carrots
are not (Simple Sugar). However, I rarely sprout, but drink
Carrot Juice almost daily......WY
