Any idea? Doesn't happen with any other juice.

that sounds like an allergy? I'm new to this raw thing but not new to serious food allergies. Do they tingle too?

I have read that there might be some mold on the wheatgrass which could cause this.

First time I had wheatgrass, I juiced it and then chewed the pulp to get all the juice out and I got a searing headache because I was chewing on the mold on the grass.

Don't take this too literally, I might be wrong, im no expert

Wheatgrass Juice is Strong medicine.....go
Easy. I like to take 3 or 4 ounces at a time, mixed with
Water to make 5 ounces total. It's quite a bit of work to

I want to try wheat grass.I ve never tried it & am not in a position to grow it.

Whole foods told me they sell itin fresh form in produce. I only have a heavy duty Champion juicer & dont have too much cash currently.

Find a local Juice Bar that sells Wheatgrass
Juice. Start with 1 ounce, chased with Carrot Juice, until
you determine if it's for you or not. Your Champion Juicer
will not do WGJ.

A Back-to-Basics stainless steel manual
makes a good juicer for Wheatgrass. I used one for many
years. Experiment with your own body and see what it can
do for you.....WY

As for my om and I, we noticed after about 3 months or so that we still did not need to 'cover the gray' I suggest using the real wheat grass shots at the food co ops or the flash frozen ones in the freezer section of your local health food store.

I made a green smooothie w/ collard greens for the first time today and I now have bad indigestion. I usually use kale & have no problems. Any ideas?

I am going to google co op for raw food because I keep hearing about it but am cluess to what it is & where to find them. Hey if its orgainic and cheap I am up for it cuz as of now I cant afford any organic produce. Whole Foods prices r way out of my league.

This is what I've mostly been using. I'm fasting and it's a pain enough to wash my vegetables and juicing and cleaning the juicer a few hours a day without being bothered with wheatgrass on top of it. Kind of clogs my juicer too and too much foam.

I use Dynamic Greens and it works for me.

You can find co-ops on www.localharvest.org if you haven't found that site yet. Also watch farmer's markets..although not much cheaper here. $4 for a pound of spinach when I can get an organic pound for 2.49 at Whole Foods.

Also with juicing you don't have to worry so much about everything organic. According to dr Norman Walker's juicing book, the pesticides stayed glued to to the vegetables and didn't come out in the juice. It's in the pulp lol.
