Do I really need a juicer?

I have been looking at juicers and trying to decide if I really want one. I had been fine up until now with just my Vita-Mix, but I have seen several recipes that call for homogenizing nuts in the juicer, so this is primarily what I would use it for.

The good ones though, seem to be a bit out of my price range for how often I'd use it, and I've also heard they are a pain to clean - which means I'd use it even less.

I only have the wet-blade container for my Vita-Mix but was thinking maybe I should just buy the dry-blade one for nut butters, as it would be cheaper than a juicer. But I'm not sure if it would provide the same smoothness as I imagine from the juicer.

I'd love some input from people who have both, or just one, and what you think!

I have both, but I'm taking a break from Juicing
and just going with blending Green Smoothies for now. I can
certainly do without my Juicers, but not my Blender. I'm
seriously considering growing Wheatgrass outdoors. Growing
indoors had gotten to be too much work.....WY
