Questions about Vitamix

Date: December 12, 2008 01:57PM I have a L'Equip that I have been using for 3 years now.
I have thought of upgrading, but I need to know about something first.....when you make a green smoothie, say with celery and spinach, does it blend it really well so you don't chew the celery strings and the tiny pieces of spinach? Is it really smooth??? Or will I still have strings, tiny particles and tiny seeds with things like strawberries? I just haven't been able to justify spending the $400 without knowing. Thanks, Dawn Re: Questions about Vitamix

Every now and then I'll have parts of Sweet Pepper seeds, or a small portion of Fig when using my Vita-Prep 3. But that's my own fault. When I use enough liquid, my Green Smoothies come out perfectly smooth. I use 2 or 3 ribs of Celery in every GS and have never had a string. A Vita-Mix is well worth the investment.....WY Re: Questions about Vitamix

Date: December 21, 2008 10:52PM I make celery soup all the time and it comes out nice and smooth and tasty. Spinach is even easier to blend. Simple Raw Recipes & Health Tips Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
