Green Star heating up..????
Posted by: pippin07 ()

I just completed a 21 day juice fast. I noticed in the last few days or so, my green star got pretty warm to the touch, and the juice actually came out luke warm.

I have owned it for about 3 years, but have used it more in the past 21 days than the full time I have owned it.

Anyone else have this issue with their green star?

Thanks!

Any metal-on-metal Juicer will create friction...therefore
heat. My Wheateena Green Label gets warm when I juice Wheatgrass.
I'd say not to juice any more than you can use immediately.....WY

Pippen...

i have used my GS for many years and it has never heated up the juice.

the motor housing is separated from the twin gear system and juicing compartment ....so basically there is no pathway for the heat to travel into the juicing area.

i have juiced many times for long periods continuously (over an hour or more) doing things like kale and beets and beet tops and have never experienced your overheating problem.

what i would suggest is that you contact Tribest and explain to them what is happening and they should be able to help you witht your heating up problem.

their phone number is on the website and i have called them before and found them to be very nice and helpful when i neeeded some help.
