Can you drink cabbage juice right away or should you let it sit out for awhile?

Also, how many ounces should you limit yourself to in one sitting?

I drink cabbage juice almost daily but I always drink it right away or within a hour or less.
I do not drink cabbage juice by itself. I juice cabbage with celery and cucumber, by itself it may be too strong. Cabbage and celery complements each other very well, calcium, magnesium, and sodium.

thanks, I will add celery. I can actually get the cabbage juice down though. The smell, more than anything else, is what bothers me.

How many ounces do you drink? I am doing 1/2 head of cabbage right now. I've read ulcers can be cured on 32 oz a day for a few weeks. I just want to get my digestive tract in tip-top condition though.

It depends on if I am staying home or going to work. When I am going to work in the morning, I juice 1/2 head of cabbage and 1/2 celery bunch. That will give about 2 pints of juice, I drink some while I am getting ready for work and take another pint with me in the car, in a container, and drink some while driving.
When I am home, I can juice the whole cabbage head and the whole celery bunch and keep the juice in the fridge and drink it within a hour or two.
One thing I found is that at some food stores, people remove the cabbage outer leaves, the tougher and greener part, when I buy cabbage that is what I am looking for the most, the whole cabbage, there were situations where I would find the store worker removes the leaves, and I would just buy the whole bag of leaves he was going to throw away, they are the most nutritious part of cabbage.
I had stomach pb so I got used to juicing cabbage and potatoes
