Making coconut oil, which juicers?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone have got good results making coconut oil with a juicer that is not the Omega 8006.

Another way is- When you have the milk(and before boiling) put it in the sun for a day or two. You'll see the oil floating to the surface in liquid and solid brown form. At that point you'll have truly raw oil. To get all the oil though scoop that out(the surface) and boil. Boiling time will be much quicker than if you boil all the milk after washing.


I usually wash the grated coconut with leaves from a local plant to help release the oils. At least I used to back in the old country. Don't make coconut oil anymore.

Many thanks for you reply and suggestions RawPracticalist and anon101, but I would like to be able to make cold pressed oil at home. I do not want to cook it.

Also, I leave in the UK and I can not rely on the sun to prepare food ;-)
