I do not have this juicer, but I have been looking at it, considering a purchase. I browse a lot of different forums, and a poster on another forum mentioned this; "This model was a import the last time I checked and was very costly.The all stainless steal looks great but the gears meshing without a synthetic support could lead to shavings in the juice.They may have figured a way around that little issue of metal flaking." After reading that, now I don't know...guess there is no conclusive answer, just wanted to throw that out there for you to chew on. Re: Super Angel 3500
