Purchasing a vita mix

Date: July 18, 2009 02:50AM Has anyone purchased a vita mix at a demonstration? I'm curious if they are less expensive when purchases at a demo. The good people at vita mix will be performing a demonstration near me but not for about 5 months. I wonder if it's worth the wait? My current blender it the Jack Lalane Healthnaster and I'm sure it won't make it another year.
