I bought a Vita Prep blender and paid $480 for it. I have not been disapointed. It looks good on the counter, matches in to my decor. I find I use the blender 3 times a week or more. I make gazpacho allot. It is amazing. I am glad I went with that instead of Blendec.

Vita Mix is the best! I have no problem with seeds at all, it breaks them down when I use it. They also offer a standard 7 year warranty. We bought several high end blenders thru Costco-we went through about 1-2 a year. They just burned out.
