for canadians/ hurom juicer on sale

To any Canadians out who are looking to buy a juicer.....the hurom upright slow juicer is on sale at www.costco.ca till may 16th. It is regularly $349 on sale for $279.99 ($70.00 off). That price includes shipping but not taxes.
Items can be returned to any Costco warehouse if necessary. The website does say that it carries a 1 year warranty, but customer service advised that this was a Costco.ca warranty, the manufacturer's 10 year warranty still stands but costco will only warranty it for one year.

You can't go wrong with that price in Canada, it's usually on for between
$349.00 to $395.00.
I own a Breville which I've had for little less than a year(a mother's day gift actually) and though I love that it is quick and easy to use, I still find that the pulp is quite wet and I have to either use a nut milk bag or rejuice the pulp. After reading everyone's reviews about juicers, I decided on the Omega Vert (the 8006 just takes too much counterspace), but since they are the same machine with the same warranty, I'll take the Hurom since it's such a great deal.

Anyway, in case anyone is interested, you have until the 16th May to get one.

The counterspace argument doesn't hold much water...
there's not that much difference once the catch-bowls are in
place. In fact, the Vert may even take more space.
The Hurom and the Vert are the same juicer, with
different labels, made in the same factory in Korea.
I'd be wary about buying a juicer that has been discounted so
deeply. It could be spelling they're having problems with it.
However, several people here have bought the Omega VRT330, and
say they like it.
Maybe more people will respond. I'd like to hear from someone
who owns a Hurom.....WY

It's from Costco so I'm really not concerned about problems with the machine since they have such a liberal return policy-plus they have a warranty for a year. I've never had a problem returning anything, even without a receipt.

I would also like to hear from any Hurom owners out there. I'll wait to see if anyone posts their opinions before I place an order.

I know that you prefer the Omega 8004/8006. Your argument for this model was one of the reasons I took so long to decide. I had pretty much decided on the vert after watching a few you tube demos, but your reasoning had me going back and forth between the two.......in the end, $279.99 seems to be the deciding factor......they really usually sell for $429.00 here.

I've really appreciated all the information you bring to this forum... I have learned quite a bit here....many thanks
