Which juices make you full?
Posted by: Helen ()

I experienced to be full when I once had a juice made of carrots, apples, pineapple and lemon. But on other juices I feel hungry afterwards. Now I am thinking about doing a juice fast, and that is why I would like to ask you which juices you recommend that make you really full and satisfied.

Thank you very much in advance for your suggestions.

Sometimes it's good to experience a little hunger.
I like Carrot Juice for a full feeling, and Celery Juice for
a feeling of cleansing.....WY

If you have a juicer with a course screen, you could use that. A juice with more pulp will make you feel full.

No juices or raw foods ever. Let's define exaclty what the term feeling full realy means. Feeling full comes from eating burned foods that have thier nutrition completely destroyed. So you keep eating untill you can't possibley eat another bite. You keep eating because the food is void of nutrition. On raw foods and juices the food is full of nutrition so it take very little of it to be nurished. You stop eating before you can't eat any more. I never feel full and neither do I want to be on any raw food or juices.

I've been straining the pulp in my Celery-Greens juice.....
then eating the pulp, and drinking the juice. It's a very full feeling
even though it is very little pulp.....
P.S. b2e.....You don't need a big stomach filled with cooked food
to feel full. Raw Foods are 'cleaner' too.....makes one feel better
about oneself, if you know what I mean.....WY

I have to say, I felt plenty full while doing my juice fast, I didnt feel "stuffed" but I didnt feel hungry... for me, not feeling hungry anymore is "feeling full".

You probably just need more calories. Try blended drinks instead of juicing. You'll get all the nutrition (minus the small amount that is lost to oxidation), including the fiber which helps you feel full.

The fiber definitely makes a difference for me as I never feel completely full on juice. In fact, the last time I tried to make a meal of juice (it was fresh OJ), I felt nauseated afterward!

Really? You don't think you're too Alkaline,

to Vegetables and Greens.....WY

I average probably about 85% carbs, 5% protein, and 10% fat. I eat a low fat, high fruit diet, i.e. 80/10/10
