Regarding Vitamix model with only ON/OFF switch:

Date: September 21, 2010 12:51AM I was watching a DVD last night called "Raw for Life" and one woman was doing a cooking demo. She said she got a Vitamix with a simple switch instead of variable speeds. I assume they are a bit cheaper but is anything lost by not having all those speeds? I know when I use my regular blender, I basically use the blend button and ice crusher one... Re: Regarding Vitamix model with only ON/OFF switch:

Date: September 21, 2010 01:20AM My Waring has Lo/Hi & a pulse switch. It serves all my needs. Maybe if I was doing gourmet recipes I would have a need for more speeds... Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
