Date: February 09, 2011 08:15AM I remembered watching this video a short while ago while I was researching which blender to buy. This is the only video that I have seen where the presenter seasons his smoothie with a enzyme powder. This never would have occurred to me, I was not even aware of enzymes or digestive aids. Anyways I was curious, it sounds like a great idea. I asked at a health conscious grocery store near me about this and the woman I talked to was stumped. She asked me to get back to her if I figured it out on my own. So I looked for the video on youtube, found it, combed the comments and lo and behold the question of what enzyme product the presenter is using and the answer.
The video: [www.youtube.com] The E3 Enzymes Supreme [www.e3live.com] As usual I looked around and wanted a better scope of what this website was all about and what the products are about etc. Apparently their flagship product is E3 Live Original, sounds like a great product. [www.e3live.com] Brain On seems to be the latest and greatest, from what I understand it is E3 Live Original + PEA (Phenalmin) which is supposed to give you something "more", Phenalmin is found in cocoa/chocolate. [www.e3live.com] I decided to buy the E3 Enzyme Supreme & the E3 Live Original. Figure I'll try the Brain On later if I like the Original and gauge the difference then. Anyways just wanted to share the happy accident of a discovery. Re: Discovered E3 Enzyme Supreme & E3 Live Original

Date: February 09, 2011 01:49PM The last I read about taking digestive enzymes is that they actually start to digest YOU. They are not a great idea I guess. Best to eat easily digestible foods and chew them well, that's all the help the body really needs. Re: Discovered E3 Enzyme Supreme & E3 Live Original

Date: February 09, 2011 11:56PM Honestly, using them at all seems a bit off to me. If you know you are going to eat something indigestable just don't eat it. Or work on upping your own digestive strength. That's what I'm doing with lemon water first thing in the AM and certain bitters and herbs to stimulate natural HC acid production. Date: February 10, 2011 12:11AM You could try upping the Enzyme Level of the food itself. I'm
experimenting with sprouting Nuts, and Beans, for my Green Smoothies. I'd even like to sprout some Lima Beans. I have ordered some Adzuki Beans, and Black, and Garbanzo......WY Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 02/10/2011 12:13AM by Wheatgrass Yogi. Re: Discovered E3 Enzyme Supreme & E3 Live Original

Date: February 10, 2011 12:15AM Sprouts are awesome but the enzymes in them are not digestive enzymes, they don't do the same job that digestive enzymes do at all.
Take care with sprouted beans, many are very difficult to digest and a few are actually toxic. Sprouted nuts and seeds and lentils are fine but the larger beans not so much. Plus they taste nasty WY. Trust your taste buds when evaluating the digestibility of those . Re: Discovered E3 Enzyme Supreme & E3 Live Original

It would be interesting to hear from Raw Foodists who use Digestive Enzymes, and those who don't. I'll bet there are more who don't than do......WY > The video: > [www.youtube.com] Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
