Hi Curator,

I too bought this blender after watching an in store demo at Costco. I used it for the first time yesterday. I made smoothies and felt somewhat let down as even after blending twice I still had small bits of pineapple string in the smoothie. The blender just did not seem to work like it did in the store. I started to get disapointed but then thought maybe I just need to give it some time and work with a bit to get use to it.

Also, I too thought there was a 7 year guarantee, but the book says only 3 years. So that has got me baffeled. The 7 year was a great incentive.

How is the blender working out for you?

Anybody else using the blendec? Thoughts??

Pineapple is very difficult to blend. My Vita-Prep 3 leaves
it a bit stringy. Better that than over-blending. Try not using as
much Pineapple next time.....WY

Ive not had problems with pineapple at all in it (I use it in most of my smoothies) but my pineapple is frozen... so maybe that makes a difference? I dont think ive used the pineapple in it fresh yet so im not sure... Also, mine has the 7 year a warranty, there should be a card in your blender, you go to the website, register your blender to get the initial warranty, then I Had to mail in the card to get the extra 4 years added to it...

the only problem ive really had with this blender, is unlike what some people claimed on here long time ago when I first joined up, it does nothing at all to strawberry seeds, they stay intact, and annoying,lol... so I just use blueberries and save the strawberries for eatingsmiling smiley

Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?
