Date: September 21, 2006 12:17PM Does anyone have any information on vegetable juice fasting? I want to try this out. A lot of people put tomatos in their vegetable juice but I am not a fan of tomato juice.
I want to do things like beets, carrots, cucumber, celery add some wheatgrass to it. All the juice fasting I have looked at is fruit juice fasting. Thanks. Re: Vegetable Juice Fasting

i got information the information is : just do it throw out the tomatoes fruits aren't too cool cuz high concentration of sugar same with the carrots but whatever... up to you... do the greens chug a lug when things get intense take a hike ( uphill) to get the nerves expressed out i dunno.... maybe you do yoga if things get intense, u can also take a bike ride and if its one of those that have more than one speed , put it to the one that offers greater resistance that will also even out the nerves with veggie juice, u get a good amount of energy ( unlike water fast which may leave you feeling weak if yer not ready for it) have a plan for the day stick to that plan focus on what u need to get done don't focus on the fast and the fast will take care of itself you'll also be surprised at how much time seems to slow down and you have "extra" time to get stuff done which you thought you didn't have before sometimes you'll feel 'empty" dunno what to tell you except to just deal with it g'luck Re: Vegetable Juice Fasting

Date: October 07, 2006 09:14PM I'm in the midst of a juice fast right now. Predominately I am using vegs though every now and again I will do a fruit combo.
Personally, I don't use tomatos in my veg juices. Lots of carrots, celery and yes even a clove or two of garlic. ~raine~ Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
