Date: September 21, 2006 03:17PM Hi,
found this wheat grass juicer on eBay and thought it looked pretty good. BUt before I spring for it I thought I'd several other opinions first. It's called the Healthy Juicer Manual Wheat Grass Wheatgrass New the address is [cgi.ebay.com] . Please I'd love some input. thanks Re: question about this wheat grass juicer I found

Date: September 21, 2006 07:28PM I have one, and personally wouldn't recommend it. It's a neat design and it's well constructed, but from my experience there is very little juice output at all. I'd love to hear what others have observed using their Lexen Healthy Manual Juicer. Re: question about this wheat grass juicer I found

Date: September 21, 2006 07:33PM It would make a good 'first juicer' to see if you're serious. I used a manual wheatgrass juicer (Back-to-Basics) for years before graduating to an electric model. For a few more dollars you can buy one on eBay at a good price. Plus, it's all stainless steel.....WY

Date: September 21, 2006 08:27PM Yo Yogi, are you saying that this would be a good first juicer because you're familiar with the model or because it's an inexpensive manual? Re: question about this wheat grass juicer I found

Date: September 23, 2006 02:15AM Well I'm going to give mine another few tries deferring judgement and I'd be happy to be able to say that yes, it's a fine wheatgrass juicer and a great value. Since I bought the thing I would prefer to like it.... Re: question about this wheat grass juicer I found

Date: November 06, 2006 02:43PM Hi delano123,
Sorry, I only just noticed this post and I see you originaly posted in September, so I`m probably too late now but thought I should just throw in my thoughts anyway. You are getting plenty of input from people here, but don`t expect much output from that juicer! I bought one a while back. Great price and seems pretty well built. I was told it was a great all rounder, but I would say don`t buy it! It doesn`t get enough juice out and it can`t handle fruit at all. It just makes jam! That`s jelly to you american folks, lol. No good for things like celery or cucumber either. Anything that has a lot of juice in it will give it problems because of poor design. It just churns the stuff round and round and most of the juice gets lost in the pulp still inside the main body of the juicer, where the auger is. It will probably do wheatgrass, I tried parsley and I did get juice from it but I`ve stopped using it now. I would think that you would loose a lot of the wheatgrass juice if you use this. I`m gonna splash out and buy a Green Power Hippocrates. A lot more money, but I`d rather spend more money wisely than waste it on things that don`t really do the job. Good luck Re: question about this wheat grass juicer I found
