preparing lemongrass: juicing blending ok?

So I picked up some lemongrass, at wholefoods yesterday. Never worked with em before, so I looked em up online. Sounds like part of it is not edible so I want to know more, I had a horrible experience overdosing on ginger a month or two ago so I want to play it safe with the lemongrass.

I was thinking it would be better to juice the lemongrass than to blend, but I'd like to know what I need to do to prepare it in any scenario.

Edit: Sorry just found this description on how to prepare lemongrass

I didn't realize that there was a "heart". I thought it was just glorified grass. So now I guess I'm wondering, do I want the husk or not?

i dunno, if its organic, and you are juicing it, I cant see it hurting (Ive juiced it a number of times, was tasty with other juice...never juiced JUST lemon grass though...) if there is anything unsafe about it, I have no idea...never even looked it up, I had been making lemongrass/lemon balm tea since I was a kid though so I didnt think there would be any issues, with either plant...

Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?
