Omega350 'do not operate with empty bowl'

Date: June 19, 2011 02:28PM First time juicing and I'm paranoid I'll break something so I was confused when it says " do not preoperate before inputting materials into the bowl... Do notoperate with an empty bowl". So does that mean put a piece of produce in there before turning it on, or don't operate without the juicer parts inside? Thanks! Date: June 20, 2011 01:44AM I have no idea what their instruction means. I have an upgraded 330 HD which is like a 350 just a different color. I always start it and add produce as it runs. never any problem. John Kohler's video's show the same. I'd call Omega if it bothers you.
