How do you clean your Vitamix container?

what is something abrasive enough to clean it but wont damage it?

also, my blade is turning brownish, how would i restore that? ive only owned it for 2 years

If you bought the tool that's needed to remove the bottom part you can get at the blades, I'd think a baking soda and dish soap paste with one of those soft green scrubbies should be enough to get the blades clean. That green scrubby and dish soap is enough for the carafe.

I rinse mine as soon as I've made something in it, warm water with a bit of soap and fun the blender for a minute if there's junk stuck in there.

If you need more than that I'd contact the company smiling smiley.

I agree with Coco about rinsing the container as soon as you can. Usually warm water, without soap, swished around with my bottle brush (similar to the one pictured) is enough to keep mine clean.
The blades are designed not to be removed. But if you can't live with the stain, you may have to remove them, as Coco suggested. I wouldn't be putting a strong cleanser in the container......WY

i use a sponge and water. But usually i just rinse it out with hot water. doesn't require much thought.

Ditto most of the advice above--I also run dilluated white vinegar through it occasionally if it smells like onion.
