Recommendations for a good 220 V blender

Date: April 21, 2014 09:16PM Hi, I'm moving to Thailand in couple days from now, and they use 220 V at 50 Hz.
I figure this is a good time to replace my old blender. I'm looking for a good replacement that has a wide jar. I don't really need power that much, because the only things I blend are soft fruits and vegetables. anything close to 1 hp or above will be more than enough. My current blender constantly jams, which is probably due to its narrow base and small metal cutting blades. Any suggestions? Thanks. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/21/2014 09:16PM by Delta223.
