Dehydrator -- New vs Used?

Date: August 27, 2014 11:51PM So I've been suddenly blessed with the means to buy a dehydrator -- I am ecstatic! The general opinion seems to be a nine-tray with timer, which is what I intend to purchase, but I am wondering if I should go for an Excalibur new or try to find one used? Is warranty, etc. worth it with a new one? Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
