Omega 8003/8005 vs Breville Juice Fountain

I do personally like the 8003 juicer, and it does have some positive
points compared to the Breville.

1. Will extract a higher yield than the je95xl on parley/spinach and
celery
2. much more quiet
3. higher nutrient content, due to lower rpm.

the negatives:
1. slower
2. takes longer
3. cut produce into small pieces

with the breville 95xl:

positive:
1. faster juicing
2. since it runs faster RPM it produces more airation, which means more
foam in the juice (all juicers produce some foam to some extent)
3. less cutting of produce
4. juices best with carrots, apples, beets

negative:
1. does not yield well on parsley or spinach.
2. louder
3. shorter warranty
4. lower nutrient content.

I guess it comes down to what you want to do. I feel for a person that
just wants juice, and wants it fast, the breville is the best way to go.
If you want a "serious" juicer, the 8003 is a better machine, in my
opinion. I have been juicing for over 10 years at this point, but I
wouldnt wear a tux to the beach either..

I like the Omega 8003 for wheatgrass and the Breville Juice Fountain for carrots. If I could only have one juicer, I'd pick the 8003.......WY

what is the estimated total investment for both?

(supposing one has the kithchen space to handle both machines without cluttering up the food prep area)

with the single augur machines, a back up machine for carrots and hard stuff is a must for any serious amount of juicing,....correct?

a person must decide on how aggressive they are going to be with their juice program above all things. get past the clean up thing it is a papertiger standin in your path to better use of your machine whatever it may be. cancel out the thought about not liking to clean it up and you will be on your way.

I actually own the Breville Elite and find it to be the best, all around, juicer that I own. It just the best workout in my kitchen on a day to day basis. The next one, my greenstar gets uses for everything else. I don't just wheatgrass very much. I buy Green Kamut and just mix it with water.

Peace,

Marcos
