Date: November 13, 2015 06:18PM Looks like they are importing the pure juicer from China. No wonder it is cheaper. Too bad. Re: New Cold Press Juicer Alternative to Norwalk - Pure Juicers

Date: November 13, 2015 08:12PM Hi Sanford,
Yesterday you asked if I would say. "Proudly Made in China". Sure. I'm proud that we make a better juicer. Today China, tomorrow the UK, and who knows maybe Proudly Made In USA. Wherever we build we will have high standards. This notion that, Made in USA is somehow better even though the machine has not had a redesign in 40 years and has a long list of know flaws does not make sense to me. Please explain why it is better to purchase a Made/Built/Assembled in USA machine with known flaws for more money makes sense? Before you answer, please confirm your computer, TV, Stereo, phone and car are also US made. I'd like to know that the same standard is being applied to all your consumer products? Date: November 13, 2015 08:56PM Wow, looks like a well engineered and designed machine. I'm tying to go through the mini videos now to see more detailed treatment. (YouTube is soooo slow for me on weekends I may have to wait till Monday).
I remember Matt Monarch saying the 'titrator', (or whatever it's called), and not the hydraulic press is the real thing that sets the Norwalk juicer's juice apart. I wonder how this machine stacks up to the Norwalk in that most crucial department. Re: New Cold Press Juicer Alternative to Norwalk - Pure Juicers

Date: November 13, 2015 09:13PM Ok, I just went through the mini videos and they look like just tidbits from the main video.
On watching the main video again I noticed, @1:42, "pure juicer company" is spelled "pure juicor company" on the nameplate. Hope that's all that was lost in translation ... Re: New Cold Press Juicer Alternative to Norwalk - Pure Juicers

Date: November 13, 2015 09:15PM So when can we expect to see "Proudly Made In China" on the pure juicer website. If you are so proud of that then put it out there and stop being so defensive about it. People who are concerned about the provenance of this clone deserve to know. Competition is good. The Pure Juicer is a superior Juicer that happens to be Made in China. I respect that your buying decision. Would you like to discuss the features that make it better or compare specifications? Date: November 14, 2015 12:43AM Competition is good. I agree. But only when both teams are playing by the same rules. It will be interesting to see a side by side comparison of specs by someone with no money on the game. Re: New Cold Press Juicer Alternative to Norwalk - Pure Juicers

I completely agree, don't take my word for it! I'll also say regardless of spec. The Pure is easier to use and clean and those testimonials keep coming in. David Re: New Cold Press Juicer Alternative to Norwalk - Pure Juicers

Have you seen one and/or tasted the juices it has made? Are you interested in buying one? Would you invest in one based largely on a few local testimonials from juice bars praising ease and speed of use in a commercial setting? The Pure Juicer is a new project a start up. We will make our history as we go. Thank you for asking it's a great question. As background, I am the largest rebuilder and reseller of NW Juicers in the world. I have hundreds of satisfied NW customers and thousands of parts and press cloth customers. I am an designer/inventor and engineer with a career in manufacturing in the USA and around the world. I made the Pure Juicer because I thought I could make a better juicer. Now it's up to the market. Re: New Cold Press Juicer Alternative to Norwalk - Pure Juicers

Personally, I'm not ready, just yet, to step up from my Wells Press but I will be interested in investing in one of your juicers in the future and I wish you much success. Please consider, as a future project, building an Indian type mixee blender/cocoa bean grinder with at least a small sized ss carafe. All of them are built like pieces of shite but the whole world keeps buying them because there is nothing better available to use for what they were designed to do. This is the one I keep having to buy again almost every year. It's the only one with blades that are placed low enough ... LOL, Ty for checking up on me. I am not ready to enter the blender market our hands are full with the Pure production. Assembled in USA (with imported parts) or Made in China? I understand the desire for US made things and there concerns with imports. Like all else the world is not Black and White. The question for me is about design and quality. The Pure is a huge improvement in design and the engineering is superior as well. Now our job is to deliver on the promise. Thanks again for being open minded and doing the footwork. David Re: New Cold Press Juicer Alternative to Norwalk - Pure Juicers

Especially considering most of the world's scrap metal which most metally stuff is made of these days has probably been through the mills in China anyway. As you already know, Pure Juicers is a start up. And so, I'm not willing to front money. I want to wait until 2017 or 2018, make sure they are solvent and profitable. It's the same reason I don't buy a new car model the first year. It takes time to get the bugs out That said, I like David. I think he is a straight shooter. I like the product and the reviews. The fact that Norwalk isn't trying to compete makes me like Pure Juicers further. I hope they can make it until 17 or 18. Would love to own one. Right now I have a Super Angel and Tribest Slow Juicer (which I use in tandem when I juice) David's inovations are remarkable. I am sure I will own a Pure Juicer soon. I am certain Chinese manufacturers are capable of producing high-quality goods. Unfortunately, the large majority of Chinese goods are of grossly inferior quality and have a lifespan of weeks or months. Re: New Cold Press Juicer Alternative to Norwalk - Pure Juicers

Can you either post your rebuild/resell website publicly, or PM me here? Terence PS: I live in Shenzhen, China and would love to try your juicer here in China; is that possible?
