how exact are juicing recipes on this board?

Date: January 12, 2007 09:05PM I am fairly new to juicing, having received my first juicer from a friend last month. I want to try the carrot lemonade recipe on this site. It says 1/2 lemon, 4-5 med. carrots, etc......My question is: If the recipe doesn't specify that I peel the lemon, should I still peel it? Will a recipe say "apple, cored" if I must core it. Or is this ALL according to the type of juicer I have? (Hamilton Big Mouth, $50)

Date: January 13, 2007 01:06AM I just looked at the Hamilton Big Mouth by going to Google. It's a centrifugal juicer so you'd want to peel the lemon, especially if it's not Organic. There would be no need to core the apples if you used them in another recipe. Your Hamilton juicer should do a nice job making Carrot Lemonade. Good Luck......WY Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
