Micronizing

Micronization is used to enhance the dissolution of active ingredients in food. It works by reducing the diameter of the solid particles in food and improving its disolution in water. Dissolved food is absorbed better. To achieve micron level particles, a blender with a high power motor is needed.

Example. Micronizing expensive goji berries in smoothies. Gogi berries contain medicinal bioactive polysaccharides among other things. Micronization would be the key to enhance its bio availability. With less goji berries you would get more.

Motor power = 3 HP
Blending time = 80 seconds
Ingredients = kale, blueberries, goji berries, water.
Result = No noticeable particles. All fluid.

Blending kale also prevents hunger for long times because the smoothie stay longer in the stomach and makes you feel fuller. If you eat the kale in a salad and then drink the water, the water passes first and then the kale. By combining, you create a new type of food as if it were all fiber. But if you try a smoothie of fruit it would pass faster and so made you hungry sooner.
