The GreenStar is the most popular and what most use on here. However, it's a pain to clean and can take like a half hour to clean.

2life.com has the best prices.

i got greenstar
i don't think its a pain to clean at all
i could do it in 20 seconds with my eyes closed
not kidding
i just put all the parts in one sink compartment
run the hot water
use the brush
swish
swush
scrub
swish

kind of musical in a way
got the nice music going
doing a little dance cuz i'm happy

and voila!

its all done

then i get the dry rag towel
and dry
swipe
dry

and put in the parts
click
clack
snap

shut
done

its all fun

and i get my yummy green juice
for all the fun i went through

and yep
its the best investment i made

i dunno about anyone else
i don;t care
just know
a good product when i experience it and taste its results

Ld knows, ive been through a ton of other juicers
all kinda inferior in comparison

just my four cents
questions like these are serious questions
and they deserve more then just the standard TWO cent pieces

i doubled it

take my advice
or leave it
but just know i've gotten greenstar
after a great deal of pontification
and its truly been worth it

I just ordered a twin-gear juicer called the "Marathon Juicer". I'm going to try it for making my Carrot-Celery Juice. It looks a little sturdier, with more power, than the other twin-gears on the market. Plus, it looks like it'll be much easier to clean (something I didn't like with my past twin-gears). I'll let everyone know how I like it......WY

clean up is mostly a mental issue unless a juicer has a design which has difficult to reach "nooks and crannies". the green star is without a doubt a design which lends itself to a quick and easy clean up.

i clean mine in about 2 1/2 min. most of the parts are rinse off and the gears and and screen require a little bit of brushing.a hose on your sink will come in handy for the rinse part. once you get it down ..its easy. green star without a doubt will give to you the most value for your dollars spent. no other twin gear can equal what you get with a green star.

go for it!

This yield chart, taking 160 hours to complete, shows the "Marathon Juicer" twin-gear to be the best of them all. Of course, Marathon paid for the independent study. "The proof of the pudding is in the eating". I have one 'on the way' to test for myself......WY
