although this may not be for everyone.....some may welcome this information as being useful! i have been experimenting with storing the greenstar juicing chamber ( all parts intact.... except the motor housing) in my refrigerator overnight so that i do not have to clean my juicer all the time. undo the latching arms and remove it all in one piece and place it in a tray of some kind to catch any drops that drip

i can report that the experiment has proved to be quite sucessful and satisfying as well. i simply remove it from the refigerator and attach it back onto the motor housing and i am ready to juice the next morning. this is the third day and it is working out really well. i will juice tomorrow and then finally clean it and start out fresh again with a clean machine on the following day.

now thats what a call continuous pulp ejection!!

you just put the housing with the twin gears inside ...not the whole machine...unless you wanna park a mack truck in your fridge. i have an extra fridge on my porch, so there is enough room for me to park it....evan outside on the porch,.. while the weather is cool.

anyways its just another one of my "experiments"....inquisitive minds have a tendency to bravely experiment while at the same time being careful to avoid all semblences of foolishness.

and they weren't very good with greens at all

so i'm sooo happy that greenstar actually delivers in performance

update on my "experiment"

i cleaned my juicer yeaterday after 3 days of putting it in the cooler instead of cleaning it each day.

results was that the fine screen needed alot more extra to get it clean. i would say that if needed you could postpose cleaning it for a day or two by refrigerating the twingear housing with all parts intact or simple put the whole machine in if you have room. three days is too long...not worth it.

cleaning the greenstar at the end of the day is actually quite easy and does not take long at all. there are several methods you can use ....but bottomline is that it cleans up easily and quickly in less than 5 minutes once a person becomes familiar with the clean up procedure.

i think i'll just be cleaning my machine at the end of the day.... it is really quite simple to do.
