Broken Dehydrator?
Posted by: Berlinpathos ()

My parents sent me their old dehydrator, but I think it was damaged in the mail.
The last time I tried to make flax crackers it took forever (24 hours) for the dough to even get a little brown, and it was never solid enough to flip easily.
I pondered why it wasn't working, and realized the fan at the back wasn't running, so the dough was just getting heated slightly, and only the top of the very first tray.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I have no idea how to fix it myself, or where to go to get it fixed.

i'm no expert on dehydradors...but it could have a loose wire from the shipping.

if that is the case reconnect it and the fan should work.
