juicer wattage

Date: April 23, 2006 01:14PM Is wattage impotant for juicing? I've come across an 800 watt juicer (a little over 1 horsepower), which also has a blender jug attachment.
I think the jack lalane juicer has about 200 watts, so I wondered if wattage/horsepower is important for centrifugal juicing. I have a hand juicer which is great but slow, and i blend my greens into smoothies or have them as salads, instead of juicing them. X Thanks Re: juicer wattage

The more watts the more power the juicer has. The more power the more juice you get. The more juice you get the more money you save. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
