juicer wattage

Is wattage impotant for juicing? I've come across an 800 watt juicer (a little over 1 horsepower), which also has a blender jug attachment.

I think the jack lalane juicer has about 200 watts, so I wondered if wattage/horsepower is important for centrifugal juicing. I have a hand juicer which is great but slow, and i blend my greens into smoothies or have them as salads, instead of juicing them.

X Thanks

Yes wattage is important in a juicer.

The more watts the more power the juicer has. The more power the more juice you get. The more juice you get the more money you save.
