Date: October 12, 2007 08:25PM Yes, I was confused by your question myself. Juice has no fiber and the advantage is that it requires very little digestion and goes straight to assimilation and thus more nutrient absorption. I think Vitamix sometimes, or at least used to, call what they create juice - but it is really blended soups, smoothies, and salads. Re: juicing for fiber

Date: December 05, 2007 04:32AM She probably doesn't understand what "fiber" is. "fiber enriched juice" sounds like an advertisment you'd see on a bottle in a drug store.
When you use a juicer, you are squeezing the juice out of the fruits and vegetables. That pulpy stuff that's left IS the fiber. If you were to actually chew your food until it looked like fruit or vegetable pulp and swallowed that... Then it would eventually work it's way down into your colon and sweep/clean the junk out. So if you want to drink fiber; you need to use a blender. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/05/2007 04:32AM by LikeItOrNot. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
