Date: October 22, 2007 07:11PM a blender blends things ... like with smoothies .. and includes the fiber .. a high powered blender may liquify things to make it seem like juice but its not juice its blended as in a smoothie
a juicer juices things and removes the juice and spits out the fiber making it juice .. adding things to the juice such as powdered stuff no longer makes it juice it makes it a juice drink with additives make sense? despite what vitamix or similar things will tell you ..they are not making juice they are making blended drinks blenders blend .. and juicers juice both have their places in our nutritional quest for better health and WELLfare (thanks john hehe) ...Jodi, the banana eating buddhist Edited 2 time(s). But I've heard people apply labels differently, so I always go with the "local" definition. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
