Date: October 26, 2007 12:08AM I am in the proccess of buying a juicer. I am doing some research but I would like some feedback on your experiences with the Hippocrates Living Juicer, Oscar 900 and Champion 2000+. Is there any other juicer in the market that I should also consider?

The twin-gears of the Hippocrates are too small for serious juicing, in my opinion. The Champion is too limited, not being able to juice Greens. I like my Omega 8003 for everyday use, but some here, JJ, LaV, and others prefer the GreenStar. Jodi and Karen may also own the GS. I can't remember....WY Re: Hippocrates, Oscar or Champion????

Date: October 27, 2007 05:08PM I don't know about any of the other juicers, but I too like my Omega 8003. I use it a couple of times a day on average, for both juicing and homogenizing. Pulp comes out really dry, juice doesn't oxidize quickly and it's easy to clean.
Good luck! Emily Re: Hippocrates, Oscar or Champion????

i think mine is a 8001, but it could be an 8003- same machine since i use it at least once a day, i admit i'm a fan. if i had more money, i might look at a greenstar, oscar, etc, but i confess to enjoying my omega a lot. peace- Re: Hippocrates, Oscar or Champion????

The auger changed a little, and body was made a little more streamlined (smaller and with more 'curves').....WY Re: Hippocrates, Oscar or Champion????

Date: November 01, 2007 06:05AM Don't spend your money on any of those juicers. Go with a Green Star. It's the best! Stick with a GS-3000! Re: Hippocrates, Oscar or Champion????

Date: November 02, 2007 10:55PM Thanks for your advice. It seems I was going in the wrong direction ! Now I am checking the omega and green star and they sound better . I also saw this Angel juicer that costs double .... is it double better??? Does anyone of you know anything about this one? Your comments are very much appreciated
Happy day for everyone ))) Rezi Re: Hippocrates, Oscar or Champion????

Date: November 02, 2007 11:25PM That Angel Juicer looks like a 'monster' to me. The gears are large (and heavy). It's probably difficult to clean. I'd say stick with the reliable Omega 8003 or the GreenStar 1000.....WY Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
