buying a used vita mix

I have an opporftunity to purchase a used vita mix 3600 from craigs list. I really don't know much about the thing but I feel I may be able to use it to make better green drinks. Has any body used the 3600? and will it blend the greens better than my beehive oster blender? The vita mix will cost $125 I think that is a fair price and it includes all the instructions. I need some input from the experts on this site. Thanks

Pampam....I'd suggest that you save your money, and buy a new Vita-Mix 5200 or Vita-Prep 3. Those old blenders aren't worth it. They're usually filty, besides being worn out. The old 3600 has a stainless steel container, and you can't see what you're doing.......WY
