I'm looking for another Single-Auger Juicer
Posted by: Wheatgrass Yogi ()

My Omega 8003 has served me faithfully for several years now, but it's not as efficient as I would like. I'm thinking about trying the Solo-Star II. Does anyone here own one or has heard about it?......WY

After reading several reviews, I've decided not to buy a Solo-Star II. It supposedly yields much more Carrot Juice when compared to the Omega 8003, but is much more difficult to clean.
So my final Kitchen is.....

Wheateena Green Label.....for Wheatgrass Juice
Omega 8003.....for Celery Juice
Omega 4000.....for Carrot Juice
Vita-Prep 3.....for Green Smoothies.

Happy Juicing and Blending to all.....WY

So what does that mean WY - you are buying a new omega 3000 or just keeping the one you have?

VF....Are you trying to confuse me? It's easily
done. There is no Omega 3000......WY

It can't be done that way. I finally decided
to make Celery Juice and Carrot Juice with my Omega 4000
and retire my Omega 8003. This way there's one less juicer
to clean. So my morning schedule is now.....Wheatgrass Juice
first thing, followed by Celery Juice with the 4000, and (without
cleaning the 4000) next comes Carrot Juice.
The Philosophy behind this is to Hydrate the Body after the
long nightly Dry Fast, without the encumbrance of digesting
solid Food. Try it.....WY

WY:

I'm curious to know how long after you have had your juices for breakfast do you wait for your next meal and how much do you consume then.

Thanks,

Today I was lazy and didn't finish my Juicing
until Noon. I'll have a Green Smoothie about 3pm and another
one about 7pm (or 8....which is too late). It's the second GS
I'm trying to eliminate in order to practice Quantum eating.
My Green Smoothies are very large (40 to 48 ounces) and very
Good. Let your imagination run Wild when preparing a GS......WY

good question

i wish i knew

there are diurnal creatures ( humans) and nocturnal creatures

i know my body was meant to function diurnally

but my spirit gravitates nocturnally

its always been that way

and sometimes i pay for it

sometimes, willingly

sometimes appallingly

sometimes gladly

sometimes i say " no more!"

then do it again

La_V.....I just happened to be up early and saw your Post come in. My new Diet is giving me more Energy, requiring less Sleep.
It's strange you should mention Purple Corn. I threw out some of both (yellow and purple) for the Birds and they wouldn't touch the purple, but went for the yellow. Are they trying to tell me something?......WY

I have the Solo Star II. It's good. From what I've heard, the GreenStar is better for cleaning and durability. I do love the taste of the juice from my juicer, though. It was rated highest for juicing Wheatgrass. I've never used the GreenStar one. Good luck.

What the....? I have NO CLUE what I was thinking or asking you!?!? Sheesh. I am sure there was some method to my madness, but at this point cannot possibly recall what it could have been. How is the Quantum Eating going for you?

Thanks for asking. I'm struggling with it. My
Diet is Great, with Juices in the morning and a Green Smoothie
in the afternoon and evening. It's the second GS in the evening
that I'll soon (hopefully) eliminate in order to follow the
'Quantum Eating' format.
Tell us what you're working on now with your Diet......WY
