Using silicone sheets in the sun

Date: June 19, 2008 10:33PM when we lived in Santa Fe, NM, we just used a well-washed old screen door spread across two saw-horses. apricots would fall all over (i knocked and asked before fighting off the birds and squirrels for his apricots), and they dried amazingly. grapes would get a little odd and took a long time. apples dried when sliced very very thin- think veggie peeler. bananas always got weird.
i liked the screen b/c both sides dried rapidly. i've heard that putting metal pans UNDER the screens to reflect would have been better. peace- Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
